In the style of NFL Films, “A Story Book Season” is a behind the scenes look at the 2009 Seattle Sounders and their inaugural season in Major League Soccer. Get up-close: From the awarding of the franchise and naming of the team, to the building of a roster, and their first game at Qwest Field. Following the Sounders along their journey to an appearance in the 2009 MLS playoffs, this film captures the excitement, and fan support surrounding SFC. “A Story Book Season” was written and produced by Mike Wacker and Rick Crawford. Victory Studios’ Ben Kaplan edited the show, with an assist from the Sounders’ Eric Miller, who also contributed the principal photography. Victory’s Nick Denke composed, and performed, the dynamic original music composition, as well as the mix, and superb audio sweetening. Victory’s Casey Frey and Dawn McLellan provided graphics support. “A Story Book Season” premiered on KING/KONG TV.
