Charlie is the go-to guy at Victory Studios for electronic equipment repairs. He’s been playing, designing, building and fixing musical instruments and professional audio equipment since his early teens in Fullerton, California, where he worked as a technician for companies run by legends such as Leo Fender and Seth Lover.
After studying recording engineering at the University of Sound Arts in Hollywood, California, Charlie left LA for good and obtained his B.S. Electrical Engineering degree at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Relocating to Seattle in 1987, Charlie’s engineering career focused on many aspects of developing, manufacturing and servicing audio/video and other integrated electronic systems for companies including Avtech Corp., Korry Electronics (Esterline), Symetrix, Inc., and Airshow (Rockwell-Collins).
Charlie joined Victory Studio’s engineering department in 2005 to support the many in-house and outside client installation, repair, service and maintenance needs.
Charlie continues to stay busy as a performing and recording musician, and maintains an independent musical instrument and professional audio repair service.
