Jon Durant entered the field of video production in 1994 at Jeda Productions in Lewiston, Idaho, where he became a self-taught editor, compositor and graphic designer. Working closely with the owner, Jeda Productions grew beyond Lewiston, soon, Jon was providing post-production for long-format, nationally-syndicated programming. In 1997, Jon moved to Seattle and joined American Production Services (now Victory Studios), where he immediately joined the remote production team that dealt primarily with live event recording for Microsoft. With the ability to learn and adapt, it wasn’t long before he caught on and was soon promoted to field supervisor and then team manager. Today, with over ten years of experience providing live-event recording and webcasting for Microsoft, he has always focused on balancing the technical side with client relations.
