Laura Nielson Denke has lived a varied life. She has a University degree in Theater Arts and Communications, choreographed summer stock theater and numerous other professional productions, founded and directed the Seattle Children’s Ballet Company, wrote and directed a children’s television special called Adventures on Sinclair Island, and served as the host of a television series called Teens Talk. In addition she wrote and directed several video productions, winning national awards for her efforts. She founded and served as the editor of the national magazine HighDef for five years. She held the position of Executive Vice-President of Victory Studios for many years. She earned a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialty in Marriage & Pre-Marital Counseling.

She is a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and is a Nationally Certified Mental Health Counselor. Ms. Denke wrote the book Ten Secrets for Achieving a Successful Celestial Marriage, Ten Secrets for a Successful Marriage, and Before your Wedding, a do it yourself pre-marital counseling course. She has over twenty years experience helping couples improve their marriages and is a popular speaker around the Country. Ms. Denke has been married to her husband Conrad for thirty-five years and has two children and four grand-children.
